Findlay Toyota CBR World Championship Bull Riding Scheduled for Las Vegas
WAXAHACHIE, TX – Championship Bull Riding, Inc. (CBR) is hosting the 2007 Findlay Toyota CBR World Championship Bull Riding presented by B&W Trailer Hitches on January 25 and 26, 2008, at the South Point Hotel
and Casino Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This exciting, world-class event concludes a competitive season of twelve professional bull riding events, which were held across the United States. The top 45 point earning riders in 2007, who represent 19 states and Canada, will compete for the World Champion CBR title and a purse of $200,000.
“We are excited about another successful year in 2007 and have enjoyed continued growth in the CBR. We are looking forward to another fantastic world championship event in Vegas,” said Tuff Hedeman, CBR President, and 4 -time world champion bull rider. “This is one of the finest indoor arenas in the country. When you combine the best bull riders in the country with the best bucking stock, you can bet you can look forward to some great competition.”
The CBR was established in 2002 with the goal of providing additional opportunities for bull riders to earn a living. With industry icons such as Hedeman and 6-time Stock Contractor of the Year Terry Williams at the helm, the organization has flourished. Recently, the corporate head quarters opened in Waxahachie, Texas, with additional staff.
The CBR and South Point Hotel and Casino are also hosting a kick-off party on Thursday January 24 in the showroom with special guest and the Findlay Toyota CBR World Championship Bull Riding Championship Awards Banquet on Sunday, January 27. Additional autograph sessions and meet and greet opportunities with CBR riders will be offered throughout the weekend.
