New Themed Menu Specials Bring Unique Flair to South Point’s Garden Buffet May 1st

LAS VEGAS, NV – South Point Hotel’s Garden Buffet showcases a revamped buffet experience with new nightly themed menus including “Surf, Turf and Grapes,” “Luau” and “Seafood” nights beginning Wednesday, May 1.

Monday night’s “Surf, Turf and Grapes” buffet serves guests an incredible array of live cooking stations serving soups, salads, fresh fruits, desserts and more. Buffet patrons can enjoy a wide selection of “turf” selections featuring Broiled New York Steak, Bacon Wrapped Filet and a Chinese Pepper Steak. The tempting new buffet features an escape from land with complementing “surf” choices including Golden Fried Shrimp, Garlic Sauteed Scampi, Barbequed Shrimp, Shrimp Mac and Cheese and Thai Green Shrimp Curry. In addition to the new selection of a la carte options, guests will enjoy two complimentary glasses wine to highlight the “Surf, Turf and Grapes” buffet experience.

Wednesday nights at the Garden Buffet will bring an island vibe to South Point with its new “Luau” buffet, including unlimited Mai Tai’s. The a la carte experience provides six live cooking stations including soup, salad, fresh fruits, desserts and more with an abundance of food choices including Egg Drop Soup, Pot Stickers, Thai Beef Salad, Oriental Noodle Salad and Lomi-Lomi Salmon. Capturing an array of unique flavors, menu highlights include Sushi and Nigiri Rolls, Miso Glazed Tuna with Asian vegetables, Soy and Ginger Crusted Mahi Mahi, Macadamia Nut Crusted Chicken, Polynesian Coconut Curried Chicken, Kailua Pork Loin, Waikiki Beach Barbeque Pork Ribs and Diamond Head Grilled Red Fish. The “Luau” buffet’s dessert station features Coconut Cup Cakes and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Taking the “Seafood” buffet to new heights on Friday and Saturday nights, the Garden Buffet presents a variety of seasonal salads, hand-crafted chowders, farm fresh vegetables and a selection of the freshest seafood available. Guests have the option to select from a sea of dishes including Steamed Crab Legs, Black Bean Green Lip Mussels, Seafood Enchiladas, Shrimp Mac and Cheese, Southern Fried Catfish with hush puppies and Snapper Vera Cruse. Also included in the buffet is a large selection of carving stations featuring Roasted Prime Rib of Beef, House Smoked Salmon and Maple Glazed Roast Salmon.

The “Surf, Turf and Grapes” and “Luau” buffets are available from 4 to 9 p.m. for $15.95 with a players club card or $19.95 without a players club card. The “Seafood” buffet is available from 4 to 10 p.m. for $19.95 with a players club card or $24.95 without a players club card.
