Garden Buffet’s Fourth of July BBQ

South Point Hotel’s Garden Buffet brings the celebration inside this Fourth of July with a special barbecue buffet from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The buffet features a variety of live serving stations including soups, fresh fruits and refreshing salad stations with watermelon, Coachella Valley gazpacho, barbecue chicken and more. The a la carte experience caters to every appetite with Citrus and Honey Glazed Chicken, Barbecued Spear Ribs, Smoked Salmon with Tarragon Cream, Southern Fried Chicken, Bayou Styled Catfish and more. The buffet also features a build-your-own burger bar featuring a variety of delicious toppings along with the choice of hamburger or turkey patties. Hot dogs, chicken breasts and Memphis style pulled pork options will also be offered, allowing guests to build their own sandwiches. To satisfy the holiday sweet tooth, the buffet will feature a warm deep dish apple pie and maple glazed peach cobbler.  Guests can enjoy $1 Budweiser products to pair with their meals.

Themed Buffet Menus at South Point Garden Buffet new “Surf, Turf and Grapes,” “Luau” and “Seafood” buffet menus offers guests an innovative buffet experience.

Monday: South Point’s Garden Buffet will feature a special “Surf, Turf and Grapes” buffet offering an extensive arrangement of live cooking stations serving soups, salads, fresh fruits, desserts and more. Buffet patrons can enjoy a wide mixture of “turf” selections featuring Broiled New York Steak, Bacon Wrapped Filet and a Chinese Pepper Steak. The alluring buffet features an escape from land with complementing “surf” choices such as Thai Green Shrimp Curry, Shrimp Mac and Cheese, Barbequed Shrimp and Garlic Sautéed Scampi. In addition to the a la carte spread, guests will enjoy two complimentary glasses of wine to highlight the “Surf, Turf and Grapes” dining experience. This specialty buffet will be available every Monday from 4 to 9 p.m.

Wednesday: The Garden Buffet brings an island vibe to South Point with a new “Luau” buffet menu, including unlimited Mai Tai’s. The a la carte experience provides six live cooking stations including soup, salad, fresh fruits, desserts and more with an abundance of food choices including Egg Drop Soup, Pot Stickers, Thai Beef Salad, Oriental Noodle Salad and Lomi-Lomi Salmon. Capturing an array of unique flavors, menu highlights include Sushi Rolls and Nigiri, Miso Glazed Tuna, Soy and Ginger Crusted Mahi Mahi, Polynesian Coconut Curried Chicken, Kalua Pork Loin and Diamond Head Grilled Red Fish. The buffet’s dessert station features Coconut Cup Cakes and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. This specialty buffet will be available every Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m.

Friday and Saturday: South Point’s Garden Buffet enhances its “Seafood” buffet experience with a variety of seasonal salads, hand-crafted chowders, farm-fresh vegetables and a selection of the freshest seafood available. Guests have the option to select from a sea of dishes including Steamed Crab Legs, Black Bean Green Lip Mussels, Seafood Enchiladas, Shrimp Mac and Cheese, Southern Fried Catfish and Snapper Vera Cruse. Also included in the buffet is a large selection of carving stations featuring Roasted Prime Rib of Beef, House Smoked Salmon and Maple Glazed Roast Salmon.

South Point’s Garden Buffet offers breakfast guests the opportunity to enjoy unlimited bloody Marys with the purchase of their breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is available Monday through Friday from 7 to 10 a.m.

South Point’s Garden Buffet offers brunch guests the opportunity to enjoy unlimited mimosas with the purchase of their brunch buffet. The brunch buffet is available every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Happy Hour at Zenshin

South Point Hotel’s Zenshin restaurant offers guests a daily happy hour special featuring a 50 percent discount on select items from 2 to 6 p.m. Guests have the opportunity to relax after a busy day with $5 martinis, $2 domestic and $2.50 import beers. A special happy hour dining menu features appetizers including Edamame ($2.50), Karaage Chicken ($3.50), Fried Oysters ($5), Hamachi Kama ($5), Misoyaki Salmon Kama ($5) and more. Guests also can select from an abundance of specialty sushi rolls, including 777 ($6), Spider ($5), Crunch ($5), Spicy Tuna ($4) and more. In addition, the happy hour menu puts a twist on the traditional pizza with Cajun Tuna ($7), Teriyaki Chicken ($6) and Garden Vegetable ($5) options.

South Point’s Silverado Steakhouse, Don Vito’s and Primarily Prime Rib will feature two unique wines throughout July. Guests will have the option to enjoy a bottle of Irony Merlot from Napa Valley or a bottle of Oyster Bay Chardonnay from Marlborough, New Zealand. The Irony Merlot and Oyster Bay Chardonnay are available for $20 per bottle.

Happy Hour at Steak ‘n Shake

Steak ‘n Shake offers guests a daily happy hour special featuring a 50 percent discount on select milkshakes from 2 to 4 p.m.  Steak ‘n Shake also offers guests four meals for under $4. Guests can select from menu items such as the Double n’ Cheese Steakburger and fries; Single Bacon and Cheese Steakburger with fries; Chicken Fingers and fries; Triple Steakburger and fries.
