Century South Point Hosts Las Vegas Charity Premiere of “Twilight”

LAS VEGAS, NV – Michael Gaughan’s South Point Hotel and Casino will celebrate the release of “Twilight” with a special advance screening which will benefit St. Jude’s Ranch for Children – Boulder City Campus.

The special showing of the movie is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 20th inside the Century South Point. Prior to the screening, a reception will take place, complete with refreshments, food and entertainment.

“This is a great way to give a very worthy local charity a helping hand,” said Michael Gaughan, owner of South Point.

Tickets will go on sale October 31st at 10 a.m. through the South Point Box Office, by phone at (702) 797-8055 or online at www.SouthPointCasino.com. General admission tickets are $25 and VIP reserved seating tickets are $100. All tickets include a pre-party beginning at 6 p.m., entrance to the movie, popcorn and a soda.

South Point will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children to help restore the campus kitchen. Tom Jannarone, Director of Food Operations at the South Point, will oversee the restoration.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, in Boulder City, Nevada cares for abused, abandoned and neglected children. Since 1967 this non-sectarian/non-denominational youth care facility has provided home and healing to children in need in Southern Nevada. Licensed to care for 67 children, the Boulder City Campus provides basic and therapeutic care to kids of all ages. The Ranch is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization which strives to break the vicious cycle of child abuse through their specialized programs delivered by highly trained and professional staff.
